Bielik is yet to make a Premier League appearance for the Gunners since signing for £2.4million from Legia Warsaw in 2015.

The Poland U21 international is finding game time at Charlton, however, having joined the League One side on loan in August.

Bielik has made 19 appearances, scoring twice and setting up one goal this campaign.

His parent club face West Ham on Saturday and will be looking to close the three-point gap on fourth-placed Chelsea.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has revealed that his side are unlikely to be busy in the January transfer window.

Emery said: ‘We cannot sign a player permanently, only we can loan players.’

On signing Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez, the Spaniard added: ‘I don’t know his situation but we can only sign on loan and I know the club is working for the possibility on which players can help us.’
